How to Convert HEIC to JPG on Mac: 4 Easy Methods
Every iPhone photo since iOS 11 is saved as HEIC — Apple's High Efficiency Image Container format. HEIC files are roughly half the size of an equivalent JPG at the same visual quality, which is great for saving storage on your phone. The problem starts the moment you try to share those photos outside the Apple ecosystem.
Send a HEIC file to someone on Windows 10 and they get an error. Upload one to an older WordPress site and it gets rejected.
