Timezones across South Asia
South Asia (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan) runs on a small set of tightly-clustered timezones — most of the region is between UTC+5 and UTC+6, with India's IST (UTC+5:30) being the reference clock. None of the major economies observe DST, so offsets stay fixed year-round. The overlap window with both Europe and the US East Coast is compressed but usable — why so many global support / BPO operations base delivery here.
